i'm saying that in the absence of a huge level of historical precedent and societal reinforcement the fleetingly, staggeringly rare instances of counter-discrimination are insignificant on a sociopolitical scale - they exist and matter only on personal bases
and indeed, exist only in the presence of aforesaid sociopolitical and historical precedent for discrimination and subjugation and dehumanisation of minority groups
it's an extreme, manic (and, as said, fleetingly rare) example of lashing against the whip
how could it be considered 'discrimination'? discrimination is baseless, rote, mechanical
we're taught it by default
whereas 'reverse discrimination' is a reaction, a forceful respons eot bad juju
so yeah
i think it a. deserves a very, very different moniker and b. cannot possibly be considered an equivalent act of hate, because it's motivated by deep, personal reasons and, as said, is not an endemic or epidemic crime
i was talking about 'reverse discrimination' with a cool law-studying friend and this was my basic analysis of the concept
