Want to know why I always want to go back to the ocean?
Because since 2017 this is where I am able to pray deepest.
In the midst of the sounds of crashing waves, the salty breeze and the cold wind, I feel God the most. In the middle of the vastness of the ocean and the width of this horizon, I am but a small dot.
Who am I that the God who calmed the sea, would call out in the rain and calm the storm in me?
Anxiety has crippled and sunk me, but it has always been God’s grace that has kept me afloat.
I don’t know what 2021 has yet, but I HAVE FAITH that God, like the previous years, would always lead me to where I need to be. All for His glory, always for His glory. Where I can help most using the gifts He has blessed me. Where I can protect my family the way I know how. Where I can see every minuscule beauty that life has to offer. Lifting everything to You, Lord, as always.
I am my own biggest critic. Before anyone else has criticized me, I have already criticized myself. But for the rest of my life, I am going to be with me and I don't want to spend my life with someone who is always critical. So I am going to stop being my own critic. It's high time that I accept all the great things about me.
