Sometimes I like to gaslight myself. Like I'm sitting in my office and I start to say things like: "Girl, it's time to wake up. You're in a dream right now. It's not real. Just look at that phone on your desk. Was that always here? Is it listening to you now? You don't want it to hear your thoughts, so you better wake up before it can. Just go ahead and open your eyes, let's wake up in 3..... 2..... 1....."

i need to write until 4 am tonight and then crash tomorrow and do nothing and die

After growing up in a high-surveillance household (talking device tracking, cameras, virtually no privacy or physical boundaries), moving out of the country is genuinely a breath of fresh air. Every other day I stop to remind myself that this is my body, my life and my mind. I'm almost an adult. There's noone watching.
