I had to look up what a Virgo was & I must say I agree. Haha!

I think Sokka is a meat man through in through. He can season, smoke, grill, roast whatever the technique Sokka’s GOT THIS!

you hand him a vegetable or a carb and it’s going in the pot. lol

And I also want to say that even though Iroh didn’t have a pov this last chapter I could still feel his minds presence in the text through Jee. And the body language that was displayed and how he talked to Zuko and How was so interesting. There was so much tension packed into those two scenes and the way Iroh commands authority. I’m so excited to see what other opinions Jee will spill about Iroh as an uncle and former general.

The nuance in the interactions between characters and how everyone spoke and inner monologues was amazing and I can’t stop thinking about it. Definitely my favorite chapter in itf and one of my favorites in the entire fic series. It was so good and I can feel my hyper fixation coming back with a vengeance especially now that exam season is over. I finally got a job too so I feel relaxed enough to draw again with out the overwhelming anxiety that I’m wasting my time. So I’m going to finish this one personal project and then return to the liab Sokka dragon idea. I have new thoughts now and might do something a bit different but either way it’ll be fun to get back into a more creative head space. Thank you for the chapter and inspiration!

So last chapter Chang looked down at Bato. I want complete honesty here, is this man 7 ft tall? Because that’s terrifying. I always imagined him at like 6’6, not like a basketball player with a sumo wrestler build. He must have something pressing on his brain that made him grow like that. I’m also just imagining in Chang’s head “look at the little noodles shorty dad. At least he has the genetics to build some muscle but damn he’ll be short.”

Chang looking down at Bato was more a tilt of the head and less of a fully downturned head. But I did write Chang as a massive man both in girth and height. I wouldn’t say he is 7ft but we can give him a few inches over Bato who is probably 6ft ish.

This might be the most specific I have ever been. I had to envision how I think the entire book would go because I’m low key lost on what the next steps are. But I can see the vague idea of characters reuniting again which keeps me going.

I’m really sad about where Sokka’s headspace is at and I’m a little worried about the sorts of decisions he might make. So that’ll be interesting to see. I agree Katara is really the only one who could tell him that he’s still a good person and that other people are good too. Because I think that might be the thing he’s struggling with most right now since he doesn’t trust anything (even his own decisions like with Ara). I just hope she is mature about things and doesn’t say anything hurtful that can’t be taken back once they see each other again. That’s like my biggest fear for him to have something said similar to the southern raiders episode because he’s not in the mental space to take that.

And Zuko better find someone else to help him deal with his trauma. Mai, Ty Lee, Rasu or Iroh. I don’t care just someone needs to give that man some care. Also is he 17 now? I think Sokka had his birthday sometime in the LIAB series already because he’s 16 now. So did Zuko have his bday too? Will this be a point where people cry later? Very concerned for everyone’s well being.

Your writing is lovely and whenever you choose to drop the next book I will be so excited to see where things go. I can feel the tension.

I agree, Sokka’s mental state is questionable to put it very nicely. But for the first time ever, he is on his own and he won’t have Zuko there to use as an emotional crutch. Maybe it will help, maybe it’ll make things worse lol,,,,

Katara is a wild card, we won’t really know how she will react until we see the situation they are in when she is reunited with Sokka! It’ll be fun I promise ;) :D
