just finished “seinfeldia” and it was okay... it was more like a background to all the ppl that worked on the show rather than a commentary on the fandom. i think they could have talked a lot more abt the fandom but idk that’s just me.
all in all it was interesting and there were some fun trivia. i think the show being meta could be expanded upon and detailed bc it didn’t feel like there was any insight, just plain facts.
overall 3.5/5. it was interesting but there wasn’t a lot of original thoughts put into the book.

I love being a comedy nerd. I just read something MIND BLOWING in Seinfeldia.
Spike Feresten (yes, brother of Wally the cue card guy) worked at SNL for a brief time, during which he would work the door for the after parties. He recalled at one of those parties seeing someone “dancing as if he’d never seen another human dance before.” This of course became the inspiration for the famed Seinfeld episode where it’s revealed that Elaine can’t dance (see below).
Now you may be wondering, who in the world could inspire such horrendous dance moves? That ladies and gents, would be none other than Lorne Michaels himself.

A new year and a new challenge. Day 1 of #AlltheBooksJan - Jan TBR & 2018 Reading Goal 📚📚📚 I’m still trying to work out which book challenges I’m going to take part in this year, but I have signed up for the challenges at GoodReads and the 50 Book Pledge again, pledging to read at least 75 books. I’d like to take a look at my currently reading list on GoodReads as there’s a number of books there that I started but never finished. I guess I get too distracted by other books too often. As for my January TBR, the above five are a start, but there may be others to add to it at some point. Four of these books are ones I got for Christmas, the other one I borrowed from the library. I recently read book one of this graphic novel series and it intrigued me enough to borrow the second one. This year I’d also like to actually try and complete a TBR when I set it up.
