i found this really cute! honestly, the way he stands here totally captures how i always picture seijuro's dynamic with his rakuzan seniors, like he's constantly being babied by them😭

look at their different vibes lol. nebuya is just tagging along, but kotaro is 100% being a hype man and then there's mayuyu looking all 'pissed' but the way he's still helping out..🥹

Sometimes i kinda give thanks that Akashi Seijuro is just a fictional character. Being an audience gives us this crazy privilege to see his vulnerability, his alter ego, and everything he’s been through and that’s one of the reason why we love him so deeply.

Like, hear me out. if he were real and we went to the same school, he’d just be that perfect, untouchable top-tier student, the guy who gets straight A’s, excels at basketball, and wears this flawless mask 24/7. We would literally never know the sheer amount of pressure and trauma he’s carrying. We also would just admire him from afar as a popular classmate, but we’d never actually know him. unless, idk, you’re lucky enough to be his childhood friend or something. but yeah, the distance is exactly why the bond feels so intense.

Why is the bird literally copying Seijuro's iconic goofy pose in the official art? I can't yall😭

It's a huge relief that Seijuro genuinely enjoys shogi and has the potential to become a professional player, despite being the Akashi family heir. In my opinion, this is comforting because it means he gets to experience life as a normal boy, provided his father doesn't pressure him too much.
