Hajime, unfortunately, is somewhat oblivious 

both to Seitarou's feelings and to his own

Mitsuru finally had to step in to get them together

it was entertaining at first but after a few months watching them struggle was just sad

nobody (except Mitsuru) expected them to get together

they're such complete opposites that it didn't look like it should work 

Seitarou is very affectionate and emotional, while Hajime tends to keep his feelings to himself especially in public 

it was a little difficult at first, but Seitarou learned to pick up on Hajime's ways of expressing affection pretty quickly (with a little help from Hitoshi)

despite being extremely affectionate himself, Seitarou has absolutely no idea how to handle it when Hajime does get affectionate

sometimes Hajime will just grab him and hug him at the end of a long day and not let go

Seitarou was so confused the first time that he just kinda froze

he was also just screaming with excitement and happiness internally

he's more used to it now but it still catches him a little off guard

Hajime is a bit clueless in the romance department sometimes, but he does his best

he's also not great at being spontaneous

so trying to be spontaneously romantic does not come to him easily

someone help this man

Mitsuru gives him advice that he totally most definitely does not need, appreciate, or use

eventually they decided it would be best to just try and schedule dates in advance, even if they're just staying at home

between their busy work schedules and Hajime's spontaneity struggles, it's just easier (and a lot less stressful)

Seitarou and Hitoshi end up becoming good friends, and Hajime isn't sure how to feel about it

Seitarou also gets along pretty well with Kiji, Kenshirou, and Samon, and Hajime really isn't sure how to feel about it

although he might warn against it, he won't try to get Seitarou to stop talking to them

but he might politely decline to be present if they hang out

they're mostly all strays or rescues, usually that one of them found on the street somewhere
