perhaps this was a mistake.
sitting on the porch of the juichibantai’s captain in the middle of the night seemed like the right thing to do at the time. it hadn’t been the first time after all that the third seat had done this. often she would resort to simply lurking like a shadow, unable to find the push to simply go out and speak to the behemoth of a shinigami and opted instead to let him pass on by. she wasn’t a fool though, he had known of all the failed attempts at conversation since the invasion had come to pass she was sure of it, but it was as if the woman's silver tongue had suddenly turned to lead. what was wrong? why was this so difficult? mugen couldn’t bear to let the weight of it crush her shoulders down with brute force, so instead, she sat on his porch and simply waited.
a great deal of the officers here had known of her, not familiar with her face but by the air she brought about them, whispers of discomfort clinging to the skin like soaked cloth so bad that they couldn’t stand to be near her longer than they had to. how many times had she heard the word ‘unbearable’? her eyes flutter open.
this is definitely a mistake.
