WIP word train!
Rules: tagger gives a word, then for each letter of that word you share a sentence/excerpt from your wip(s) that starts with that letter.
Alright, so I got tagged by @fivedayslater and the word I have to work with is COLD, so let's see what I got. I might have to dip into my original fiction.
C-Corporeal forms, Frisk thought, glancing down at their hand. Fade. It was all completely natural.
O-One dwarf, a tutor of Peter’s, sneered that the unicorns hadn’t cared at all when Jadis brought winter to their lands as it only made it easier to hide out amidst all the snow.
L-“Last year’s wheat might have been poorly, but other crops have done well. The vineyards especially so. We have so many orders for more wine sales that we will do just fine,” Susan interrupted before sitting her cup down. “And once again, we’ve gone off topic.”
D-Ducking past movers and the sheet covered furniture, Cathy paused at the fireplace and looked up with wide eyes at the collection of porcelain horses lining the mantle.
C is from the Making A Kinder World epilogue that I recently found after ages of being lost (when my other computer died) and now I'm trying to decide if I should finish it or not. O and L are from two different Narnia fics I'm working on very slowly, one about Peter's unicorn we see briefly in the movie while the other is a Edmund romance with a sideplot of spymaster work which I'm looking forward to finishing. D is from a Beetlejuice fic that's based on the original script, which includes Cathy who was essentially proto-Lydia while actually being Lydia's little sister.
I'll tag @seecarrun, @fatbottomedgal, @biathelstan, @syrena-of-the-lake. Your word is FIGHT.
Happy Birthday!!

WIP Tag Game!
I was tagged by @seecarrun! I actually don’t have a bunch of fanfic wip at the moment, but I’ll only talk about those for now.
Rules: List all your WIP titles, all meaning even the ones that are vague or nonsensical. Tag as many people as there are WIPs.
So, uh, funny story--I don’t actually name my stories until the last minute unless a name just jumps out at me. So, one of these has a very boring name, sorry.
Unnamed Underswap AU--since I could never really get into Underswap, I’ve always kicked around the idea of making my own version, just to see if I could start to like it more. I’ve only got the outline for this, but I’m actually seriously considering writing it.
The Shark, The Siren, and The Shipwreck--A Narnia AU except instead of being set in Narnia, it’s set in the Lone Islands, Aslan is a whale shark, the White Witch is vengeful Siren whose curse the islands to be stuck in a perpetual monsoon, and Lucy befriends the Sea Girl (from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader) instead of Mister Tumnus. Also, Susan is the traitor, not Edmund, and since I’m shipping trash, it’s Lucy/Sea Girl. Not sure what I really had in mind when I made this, only that I wanted to take some of my favorite tropes, shake them together, and see what I get.
Now look, my brain is a bunch of gobbledygook right now since I’m still recovering from my illness. I know I should tag two people, but the only person I can think of is @venelona. If you’re one of my mutuals and you want to do this, please do so, I’m sorry for not tagging you, but my brain is swiss cheese and I want to naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppppppppppppppppppp

Tagged by @seecarrun! How lovely!
Rules: post the last sentence you wrote for a wip; tag as many people as there are words in the line, and make a new post - don’t reblog!! <3
Hilariously, I was actually JUST thinking about starting a new wip, but I hadn’t gotten to it yet since I’m having an sinus pressure headache atm, so I’ll have to go with this older one. I pretty much decided to scrap this section since it was just prologue that moved too fast and I want to go back and add more character set up.
Their mother looked pale as she kissed them goodbye, reminding them to look after each other and waving at them almost as long as they did as the train left her shrinking in the distance. The train ride was mostly quiet and awkward, filled with the unhappy sounds of other children and young mothers with babies who were also escaping to the countryside.
🌹! :)
this is from something i wanna work into a long haul comic that i cant divulge on atm dsjfhksdjhf
The others at Morning Glory were watching the two as well, but closer and more critical of Taichi's teaching style.
"Oi, Taichi, try using your words more," Koji said.
"Huh? But I am!" Taichi looked confused, but Haruto was still determined to get it right.
"Saying that a move is like "gwaaah" or "baaan" isn't as useful as you think it is," Koji said.
"I don't know..." Shiro looked up from his tablet. "I think I get it."
Send me a 🌹 in my inbox, and I’ll reply with a sentence dialogue from a random WIP.
FURP for the fanfiction thing!
F: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
