okay, but really...i’ve expressed just how much i love applepaw and sparrowface, but we all know it’s implausible, so! i honestly have a fair amount of theoretical applepaw ships, but i’ll toss out one that’s more feasible and one that’s just totally based on my own impression of the characters and thinking, hey, they’d be neat together.
first up is a more feasible ship, except, again, not truly...because as sweet as cherrysong and applepaw is (fruit names, guys!) cherrysong is again unfortunately bound by medicine cat laws. still, though, i really adore watching applepaw slowly open herself up to cherrysong who is undeniably good at getting other cats to shed their barriers. applepaw’s not used to other cats and especially not used to their kindness, but cherrysong has treated her well. their recent roleplay that involved them grooming each other was incredibly sweet and a tender moment for applepaw particularly, though i imagine it was also special for cherrysong considering her emotional state right now. i think they’d be great supports for each other, with cherrysong sort of coaching applepaw into a more regular lifestyle while applepaw could provide cherrysong with the care she always dishes out so readily to other cats.
the second ship i have is again literally based on zero interactions, however...applepaw and sedgenose would be interesting, no i will not elaborate. okay but really i just think they both sort of have this thirst to...prove themselves, be some sort of hero or at least to impress others, and i love them both, so! wham, two girls together.
