so fun fact about this girl: they USED!!! to be renowned for their speed. ascending to deputyship very early in life (thank u, nepotism), rookfeather was still very spritely, earning their promotion after taunting a badger in its set before luring it (and its cubs) out into the open where the rest of the clan could attack. rookfeather managed to escape that encounter without injury, but the previous deputy did not...

anyways, this piece comes from later in her life, shortly after the flood that led to the start of sedgeclan's war for leadership. being young, rookfeather becoming 'rookstar' was very divisive, and a certain sr. warrior had some problems with that...
