Paula recounts times were Sebastian seemed baffled at concepts such as politely declining a lady's advances, or how he would insert himself into conversations when Paula was speaking with other men.

Agni smiled, listening to these stories and talking about how Sebastian seemed perplexed at how he managed to get the other servants to listen to his instructions without breaking anything.

He recounts admiration for Sebastian's dedication to his work and his skill to always keep Lord Phantomhive safe from all harm, no matter how impossible it seems.

Sebastian listens to them just beyond the door, hand over his mouth, his face feels impossibly warm listening to his two closet companions talk and laugh about his, rather silly, actions.

fondness in their voices, he can hear the mirth and joy as they move from the past and into the present.

Paula talks about the Campania, her voice softer, how she thought Sebastian would die from his wounds, that he took his job at the expense of his life.

Agni talks about the circus, how he worried for Sebastian and his mental health, expressing sadness for how he doesn't care for himself.

Sebastian feels something stir in his mind as he walks away.

Two weeks of rampant insomnia and a ludicrous need to write something creative has given rise to this.

One completed Sebagni canon fic, no angst, 27k words almost.

One of the best things about Sebastian is that he has two hands.

Once to hold Baldroy's, the other to hold Agni's.

For the past, like, five days I have been trying to sleep but my brain keeps telling me, "you need to write about Baldroy calling that dumb demon 'Princess'" and like I don't know how to write romance or anything nsft.

Now I am currently suffering over Agni calling Sebastian "little dove" and asking him to "sing for me" and I think I might have to eventually write something but I have my Dadbastian stuff to work on first.

idk if I'll add the ship into it (and if I do, it won't be for a long while), but I may eventually cave an write something small.
