My Lush order came today! Cosmetic Lad is my favorite moisturizer. I tried it for the first time this year when I visited the store in St Louis where an employee recommended it to me. My focus had been so much on fixing my adult acne that I had not been as kind as I should have with my skin; trying products that target sensitive skin has been a game changer. CL paired with Movis as a cleanser has significantly improved the look and feel of my skin.
I’m going out on a limb and trying of their shampoo bars and a hot oil treatment. Seanik (the shampoo) and Yuge had several high reviews from people with fine/greasy/lifeless hair, which describes my hair pretty well. I have to wash it every day, the hairs themselves are fine to normal but many in number, and I’ve also been dealing with some postpartum hair loss and thankfully some new growth.
My last order was a dud with Jade Roller solid cleansing balm and Amazon Primer solid facial oil, which made my skin worse and didn’t moisturize or prime well, respectively. I’m excited to see how these products work for me, and if I’m feeling adventurous I may post a hair before and after.

I bought and used the "Seanik" Shampoo Bar. It came in this plastic packaging, which is probably due to shipping. The bar itself is a tad bit crumbly, so only handle when you're about to use to make sure you use all of the product! The smell of the product wasn't my cup of tea, but I don't hate it. The application was amazing. You just take the bar and rub it into your hair/scalp, and then message through your hair and it foams up like normal shampoo. I was quite surprised of how hassle free it was. I overapplied the first time, thinking that it wouldn't work as good, but I was wrong. Immediately after rinsing, I noticed my hair was kind of stiff and didn't have that silky hair feeling after using bottled shampoo & conditioner. However, that didn't affect drying my hair. My hair seems pretty normal. It is not as voluminous as it would be, but that is fine in my book! In the shower, the product will drip its color after being put down, so you may want to rinse out the soap holder if you have white tiles in your shower!
