I’m starting a Stardew Valley Tips thread for uncommon or especially helpful tips, because most lists are either very repetitive or directly mentioned in game. What are your uncommon tips?
On a PC, or maybe even a Switch, having a chest in the Mines is really helpful so that you don’t take unnecessary things into the mines, clogging up your inventory, and you can store food there so you can take a break and eat after five levels. I’ve gotten through 10-15 levels a day once because i was able to deposit stuff and take a snack break.
Last I checked, it doesnt really work on mobile, because my chest disappeared. It might have been in someone’s way, of course, but I didnt think it was.
Anyways. Chest in the Mine entrance. It works.

Stop drinking coffe!
Drinking coffe only gives you a speed buff for about one minute.
Instead take your coffe and and make yourself a triple shot espresso! [cost 3x coffe] It's more potent than regular coffe.
Your speed buff lasting about three times as long as regular coffe.
It's technically makes sense!
