I made us a Google form to send to clients after a project is finished to see how the company did and if there's anything we should do better. I showed boss man and he said we were giving them "too many options" and asking "too many questions" so he wanted me to get rid of the neutral and very unsatisfied options. Whatever, sure push the clients towards positive yeah makes sense, not moral but whatever. He okays it and we finish the form. Since I use Google forms I make the automatic sheets file that comes with it. I send him the form and the file. He comes back to my office with more things he wants to remove, including half the questions he previously okayed, "I just want the meat and potatoes, like I told you with the billboards" okay fuck you but whatever. So I change it and he then asks me if the Google sheets form works and if I tested it, I say that no, I haven't tested it, but I know it works because I've used this before. He says "well that didn't answer my question, does this one work?" I say yes, it will work, he says "well I don't know" I hate when he says well I don't know, he tells me that he's going to fill out the form and he'll see if I'm right. I am. So I send him the new link to the excel sheet saying "here is the updated sheets link that shows the new questions we added." "He responds, "that's the summary sheet" I'm mentally screaming so loud at this point. I respond "yes, that's correct, the link for the actual form updates in real time so the old link works fine, but I will resend it"
So now I'm sitting here, waiting for a response even though I have no idea if it'll actually come through because this man has the memory of a chicken that is rolling downhill through a herd of cats with a hunger for poultry.
