I feel like eugh fish well.......... yes.
One of the most frustrating things about being an SCP fan is that, technically, you have an inverted catalog and infinite content, making it impossible to see or understand the enormous complexity of the wiki, or even to get bored with SCP in some way, since if you don't like something, you can just ignore it and that's it.
And yet, YouTubers, video game and series developers, only focus on the most superficial layer, not to mention just generation 1 to 3, without usually digging deeper or exploring the enormous complexities that this has.
I know I’ve complained in the past that there are times when a page doesn't seem to really need the Foundation to tell a specific story—leaving me wondering why it’s being told here in the first place. But putting that aside, the fact is that I’ve seen people who enjoy it; and even though it’s not really for me, there are a hundred other things I *do* like—and those are what interest me most. As I said, it’s frustrating that outside of this niche community, the only things that go viral are the same things we’ve already seen twenty thousand times—namely, anything related to *Containment Breach*.
Nobody has focused on mobile detachments, nobody has focused on any Tycoon-style game where you have to manage a facility, nobody has focused on the Occult Wars, nobody has focused on tactical teams going to neutralize anomalies, nobody has focused on Omega 7 or Alpha 9, nobody has focused on the separate stories, nobody has focused on the expanded lore about the Scarlet King, the three deaths, no one has made use of the vast array of characters—such as the Doctors or those found within the various anomaly canons like the Broken God—or events like "When Day Breaks." Damn, nobody has used anything other than the SCPs, the Global Occult Coalition, or the Chaos Insurgency. What happened to Doctor Wondertainment? What about "Are We Cool Yet?"? What about the Serpent's Hand? or so on.
Henry's handprint :) he's my SCP character, 18 fingers, slinks through ponds maybe you'll see him one day, maybe you won't, but now I have this.
A Francis I drew for an art trade with @amajorchord :-3
