Scoutstar has led TimberClan for many seasons, and yet leadership feels no easier than the day she claimed it from her predecessor. Fierce in her devotion and driven by a sense of righteous justice, every choice she has made was a desperate attempt to shield her clan from harm, but each one fell apart in her paws.

Once an outspoken and doting cat, seasons of loss and betrayal have tempered her spirit into something wary and withdrawn. Scoutstar now faces the task of mending the clan that she herself fractured after spearheading the rejection of the Colony after the alleged murder of Dantefire.

The deputy held no illusions that things would always be peaceful. When she was long gone, cats would find reasons to unsheathe their claws. Her life, in large part, would likely be forgotten. But if she could change one thing in the history of the clans, she wanted it to be this. Even if her name was lost to time, she hoped that a neutral Little Pond could remain as an echo of everything she'd ever fought for. Of what Wildsong had died fighting for.
