Kasich Only Watches the Golf Channel
By Scott Isbell
John Kasich has admitted that he only watches the Golf Channel and odds are that if he isn’t mumbling in a rally, he is certainly watching the golf channel.
The only question Kasich ever asks the American people:
I do not see why Kasich stays in the race. Yes, he has the funds to do so, but he is only causing more issues for everybody involved.
I have promised Kasich via Twitter that I would pay for 3 years of his Golf Channel subscription if he dropped out, but Kasich doesn’t actually post on Twitter himself nor reply or retweet any Tweets sent to him. Nope. John Kasich uses Hootsuite days in advance to plan his posts and the rest is auto-piloted.
Kasich is intelligent. I cannot deny that. But he has no personality and is as boring as a pet rock. Perhaps worse. Yes, definitely worse.
The only reason I am harsh on Kasich is because I do not feel he is personable enough as a candidate to run against Bernie or Hillary. He would get squashed by Bernie Sanders, who taps into emotions almost as well as Donald Trump does.
Trump, Clinton Have YUGE LEADS in NY and PA
By Scott Isbell
April 11, 2016
It seems as though the Donald is back on track and that his #TrumpTrain is far from derailing.
Despite the endless cheating by Lyin’ Ted and the overall corruption being seen in the GOP, Trump continues to kick ass. That is what Donald Trump does. That is, kick ass. Kiss ass too? Yes, sometimes, but he is damn good at it.
On the other end, Hillary Clinton is looking to pick herself up off the ground after Bernie Sanders has won the past 8 out of 9 primaries/caucuses. Clinton is clearly who the Establishment want as their nominee, but Sanders refuses to let up or back down.
Both Trump and Sanders have run similar campaigns. That is, both men tap into heavy emotions inside their followers and haters. Emotions such as pride, anger, fear, etc.
Lyin’ Ted continues to, well, lie and each day he ends up pulling another PT Barnum-type stunt.
The #TrumpTrain is getting stronger and angrier than ever (I might add) and the same is with Bernie Sander’s supporters. One thing is clear, America is sick of career politicians who are all talk and no action. So am I.

The branding and narratives of @disney in @disneyonice is beyond incredible. Never seen the rejuvenation of brands done as well as Disney does. This company will be able to keep all of the characters relevant forever with such marketing tools like #disneyonice #scottisbell #boston (at TD Garden)

Top 3 Biggest Issues of the Boston Bruins
By: Scott Isbell
2/9/2016
Please don’t get me wrong. I am a #yuge Boston Bruins fan. For those who don’t understand ‘yuge’, it is my effort to tie this post into the Presidential Campaigning class blog as well as Donald Trump.
Anyways, the Bruins have had a season of overall off and on moments that has left its fans somewhat disappointed and underwhelmed. With that said, I know that we as New England sports fans have become more than spoiled to say the least, and our expectations of our local teams are always raised more and more. Below I have outlined the top 3 issues the Bruins face in the current moment that stand in the way from Boston being a Cup contender this year.
1) The Boston Bruins No Longer Hit
The Bruins are no longer a hard hitting team. After getting rid of the likes of Shawn Thornton, Milan Lucic, and not having Zdeno Chara at full health and strength, the Bruins are lacking on the hitting end. Teams used to fear playing the B’s because we always hit harder than everybody and we never held back. The Bruins need to get back to this tough mentality and I am certain it will do wonders in the overall amount of wins.
2) The Boston Bruins No Longer Fight
The Bruins never found a replacement for Shawn Thornton and Milan Lucic. Though fighting in the league is lower than other years, it is still an integral part of the game that the Bruins have relied on heavily in the past to intimidate their opponents and to win countless clutch games.
3) The Boston Bruins Slow Down In 3rd
For one reason or another, the Bruins play the first 2 periods with speed and, in the third, end up slowing down and giving up the lead (and often times the win). I do not blame this on Coach Claude Julien alone, but I do know that if he doesn’t find a way to solve this problem, the team will find itself a new coach who will find a solution.
