Day 14 is Scorpion Pose 🦂 Picture on the left is from 9/20/14 Picture on the right is from today 3/14/20 😳😅SIX YEARS?! Boy I’m old. But with age comes wisdom hehehe. All joking aside, it’s crazy to watch myself from the beginning of my yoga journey because I still feel like I’m a beginner lol. Now I understand. There was no way that Eden from 2014 was going to attempt this pose without a wall. Even now I made sure there was something behind me except the difference is I didn’t rely on it. I haven’t even really attempted forearm stand...like ever as peculiar as that sounds for someone that’s been involved with yoga for more than five years. I was surprised today to almost float up into forearm stand. I felt the balance & that was my safe spot....forearm stand???? A safe spot??! YESS lol compared to scorpion pose it’s a breeze (to me, now). It was fun figuring out where I’m at with scorpion pose now. I’m working on lifting my head up & reaching my toes down...as I was practicing this pose today it was really easy to lose my balance but in a controlled way of course. No flipping back and forth *gotta protect that spine*. I was able to sit comfortably like this forrrrrrr...wait for it....
