Filled some holes and the hollow ends of the auger handle with chemical metal (and ultimately painted over it).
Sneaky oil change while the paint dried.
Old oil looks grubby but was still decent consistency & clear of bits.
We had an absolute nightmare yesterday as our sewage pump failed and backed up into the house (wowowowow) BUT the whole tank needed pumping anyway and our local pump guys swung around and pumped out both the tank and the pump chamber for us. We've since tested the pump and it seems like something was stuck inside the float, but it's loosened up after some percussive maintenance.
Went back to the Scorpa in the afternoon and sorted the final parts
