Office stuff for the Iron Star. A universe with the same mundane nonsense we have to deal with. I wanted the offices and admin levels to be a marriage of sci-fi (specifically the space brutalism style of the Iron Star) with your typical office interior design space. Wainscotting, not enough desk space, wall lights, and lousy carpets.
Honestly though, I think given how designed the Iron Star is, I imagine the original architect would have done something distinct for the office levels as well, like when Frank Lloyd Wright designed office buildings... but that might be hard to justify on a TV budget. Besides, being too designed might take people out of the reality, I’m not sure.
