Wes hadn’t meant to do anything wrong, and he certainly had not meant to do this much damage to Wilson’s camp. In fact, he had not meant to do any damage to Wilson’s camp. He hated hurting others in any way, and this… This definitely would hurt whoever had built the camp.

He had been wandering at dusk, torch in hand just in case night set in before he realized, as he tended to forget the dangers of the darkness, looking for something interesting. He didn’t really need to prepare for winter- he had plenty of warm clothing and honey to keep him through the harsh season, so he spent his time wandering and looking for resources or people instead of getting ready. 

Upon finding an empty camp, Wes had gotten far too excited before nosing around, hardly noticing that he had dropped his torch, only realizing his mistake when he heard fire crackling around him. By then, there was far too many flames for Wes to put out himself.

He’d backed up just out of reach of the flames, staring into them, tears in his eyes and frozen in place. Oh, whoever made this camp would not be happy…
