My prom took place in 2008, when Flo Rida’s and T-Pain’s “Low” was a chart-topping grinding anthem. And what did you know - my prom escort and neurodivergent 17-year-old me (was too cultured via Ovation TV and all the early music broadcasts that broadcasted on In Concert via EWTN to care about the controversial dance craze back in the day) danced CLEANLY while a majority of my classmates did the - *ahem* - sex-sex sa damit.
Among my inspirations for my Zazzle product lines are my high school memories, and dancing differently than my classmates as Lil’ Jon rapped about freak dancing “to the window and to the wall” is one of those. It in large part motioned me to create this witty flyer, perfect for not only middle and high school dance attendee packets for their social dance functions like proms and homecomings, BUT also ballroom dance studios’ marketing campaigns.

I’m at a school dance right now but I’m at a table, away from the dancing and stuff, and instead of doing anything social, im reading fanfic. Idk what I expected to do, it might be exactly this idk

School dances are so fun but anyone else just wanna pass out when they get home after one? Cus I just got home from one and everything hurts and I wanna pass out but I gotta eat dinner-
Also yes the pain may be because I fell and hurt my ankles and scraped my knee and my throat hurts too cus I was scream singing songs but we're ignoring the fact all the pain is my fault lmao
anyone else always experience that thing at school dances (or just in general) where ur talking to/dancing with a group of people and then the people next to you slowly jsut edge you out and then suddenly you’re outside the circle staring at backs and you cant hear anything people are saying so you cant even jump back in
