Okay I'm just gonna vent cause this fandom has become my family ngl-
Soooo, story time cause why not-
Uh, yeah, so in 9th grade, we had a complete class shuffle and there was a new boy in my class. Things were good. All of us in the class were like one big friend group.
I thought I wouldn't catch feelings for any guy in my class.
Let's name him Ramesh (wtf)
(Why tf am I writing like this)
I- I don't even know how it began. It all started with a dream where apparently I liked him and he liked me back? And since then I found him attractive? (My best friend said he's chopped as fuck and now I agree)
Everything he did was now attractive. Fix his hair, gosh. Fix his glasses, oh my. Play football, just stop already.
Funniest part? I thought he liked me. Wayyy before I had a crush on him. He was staring at me and when I looked at him, he'd look away. He often hid my stuff as a joke (he did that to everyone ngl) and even struck up a conversation (abt anything) whenever neither of our friends weren't around.
All the signs pointed to - YES HE LIKES YOU.
And I kept getting recommended "Signs he likes you" videos. Then I slipped into delulu mode.
This went on til 11th. Yes, eleventh grade.
Then he completely changed. He was friends with the popular jock kinda guy (who used to be my friend before he got all attitude-y)
The worst part? I told the jock guy that I liked Ramesh (yes I was stupid). And the jock guy proceeded to spread the word to Ramesh.
Oh and btw the jock guy was my friend since middle school and jock guy also told Ramesh that I had a boyfriend in 7th grade. And I kissed him on the cheek (yes I'm embarrassed).
The thing is, Ramesh came up to me (this was before he found out I liked him and after jock guy spilled the beans about 7th grade) and he asked me "Was what " jock guy" said true?"
And I said "what do you wanna believe?" As if I was in some romantic film and it was a misunderstanding (wtf was I on)
And he shrugged saying idk and then I said yes cause what's the point in hiding it, and he nodded slowly while walking away.
Btw after he learned that I liked him his demeanor completely changed. It was as if he hated me.
Funny thing, the day after he found out, I avoided him like the plague. I was going down the stairs one day after lunch and as soon as I saw him turning and coming toward the stairs, I turned and bolted toward my class (I almost fell)
And guess what? I found out that he called me "fat" behind my back. That was genuinely the last straw.
Since then, I have been "Ramesh"-free 😌🤌 I hated him (still do, Ramesh wherever you are you can go fuck yourself)

Edit 2 : What made me feel better is that once two boys actually fought over me (hehe) but the two of them were jerks to my friends so I didn't accept either of them
