Part 16 of the first chapter of the fourth volume of the TRONDHEIM SAGEN “God Wants It”.

“Come to my possessions and shout orders as if you had the right? How dare you?”    “Calm yourself, burly fallen noble, or you will get heartbreak! We are in your house since the Lord of the North commands us, and in the face of this all the rest is morning fog!”

You men believe you are the masters of these lands, the ones elected to govern every creature by virtue of the acquired power and immeasurable number. However, you should be more careful about raising emblems of your greatness or you will end up attracting the ancient calamities upon you. Should it happen, you would end up like ants under the sole of a boot!

You will be able to attack me with your slimy devices, challenge your fate behind every quibble, yet I will still be erect, when all of you will drown in the unworthy blood of the infamous. The Verb of the Warrior Gods did not fear the Malevolent God, the injury of the aeons or the ignorance of peoples and certainly will not fear you!

The ground under your feet will turn to dust and you will fall into the abyss! You have no escape from the might of Old Mound. You are only candles and as such sooner or later your light will fade, leaving the dominion of everything to the black banner of the Thousand Gates!

You keep the arm excessively central to the body, exposing the shoulder. Come to the Schola and we will correct your posture! I don’t promise to make you the best fencer in all kingdoms, but to make you survive the longest on the battlefield, yes!

You can hit the waves of the sea as long as the force remains in your arms, however you will never be able to make them desist from fulfilling their course. In the same way you should behave, following the Lords of the Cardinal Kingdoms against the common enemy. You will fall, you will be wounded, and yet you will rise and continue to fight, not only because it is good for virtue, but because it is right!
