I’m really intrigued by your Seekers comic. I really hope that you decide to make it a reality. I already have questions, like why are the one character’s blue eyes a big deal? And the names of the characters were tagged, but who is who? I like the style you used for the test page, and I am will look forward to seeing more test pages, and hopefully a full comic eventually.
I’m glad you’re interested! I want to make it a reality eventually, I just still have a lot of planning and work to do on the story/comic before I could consider going forward with it.
But those things I can answer!
Amar’s eyes being blue is significant bc this scene takes place not long after he becomes a Seeker, but he’s unaware of it at that time. Jason’s eyes are normally green, not red, but because Amar has made this transformation he now sees the red instead of green, which he doesn’t understand yet. Thus, he makes a snide comment since they’re also not on the friendliest terms here. In the same vein, Amar’s eyes are naturally brown and to normal people they look brown! But because Jason is already a Seeker, he notices they’re blue (after having to remember if they were blue before) and that’s why he gives it such attention.
Their eyes are this color only to people like them, Seekers or those endowed with spirit energy. The color reflects the color of their spirit, so Amar’s is blue and Jason’s is red.
And if its not clear by now, Jason is the name of the one with red eyes and Amar is the name of the one with blue eyes.
