Day 7 - Scence
the mysterious mind
Randomly throughout the day, I get images/scenes of dreams I’ve had - some of these are ones I have forgotten about. The mind is very mysterious.
☆A city filled with inspiration no matter the time☆ Such a beautiful place, any photo of it looks divine. I love it here, I am going to be sad to leave but happy to see the people I love. I am glad I had the opportunity to see such a lovely place. #amsterdam #bikes #bridge #canal #netherlands #Holland #trees #silhouette #beautiful #places #europe #city #scences #landscape #sky #travelling #myholiday (at Amsterdam, Netherlands)

WHITE
My head pounds against my skull. I can feel it thumping, screaming and fighting. My throat aches. My heart races. Everything is too bright. And blurry. And I’m all too aware of the stench creeping around me. Bottles of liquor, I assume. I cough, wincing at the burn in my throat. I need water.
I look around the room, searching for familiarity. My eyes make peace with the poster on the wall, and I’m suddenly thankful for the stupid thing. It’s suddenly comforting.
I expect to find him in the shower, washing off a night of stupidity.
I groan outwardly, wishing I hadn’t drank so much, wishing I would have at least stayed in my own bed.
I manage to stumble out of the knotted sheets, freeing myself. I stare at the mirror on the wall. Black smudges run in every direction from my eyes. Beautiful.
I wonder if I could leave before he returns. My stomach coils, and I try to ignore the sinking feeling.
Memories of the night before flood through my mind, and I’m all too aware of my stupidity.
Brandon’s sweater clings to my body, hovering just above my knees. I look around for my clothes, desperate for a speedy escape. I know I shouldn’t be here.
