Often times I get comments or messages on my Instagram from henna loves saying “why are the bridal Henna’s are so simple” and “come on! She’s a bride! You should do more full designs”. Well I hear ya but it’s also important to consider that not all brides like full hands of henna. I often have the pleasure of doing henna for brides who prefer simpler designs. For other people this may seem weird especially if they are South Asian as people from cultures in India and Pakistan are used to full hands of henna. But designs where there is a good balance between positive and negative space stand out more than full hand designs. At the end of the day it is all preferable. My goal when I apply henna to my clients are not only to create beautiful henna art but to make sure my client is satisfied with the art I have created for them. Nothing beats making my clients happy 😊 . . .
