I have to put this out there just because it’s been killing me and I know theirs not a super strong Dragonball fanbase on Tumblr but still. Toriyama wrote for this game and Xenoverse is also based on extended Lore Toriyama made nearly a decade ago now for an MMO.

Sayains are back in the future because of some good old Sayain biology. Sayains are naturally attract to strong mate. Either physically strong or strong in personality. It’s why Vegeta and Goku married Bulma and Chi-Chi. In another reality they would make decent Sayains. But as the bloodline of the Sayains spread throughout humanity the Sayain instinct also got spread. Eventually it would snowball where people with Sayain heritage would get together with others with Sayain blood. Over time this would concentrate until the Sayain race functionally came back.

The Majin Race (aka the Buu Race) came from Buu looking at Hercules Magazines fully of women. He started to feel lonely and wanted a wife of his own. So Buu would take one of his own Ribs and it would form into a female Buu personally crafted by himself that he would name Buubi. This new race of people could essentially reproduce asexually or with a partner if they felt like it which meant the Majin Race exploded over a short period of time because they had options when it came to having kids. It’s fortunate that Buu’s people inherited his happy nature however each of them can learn a forbidden Technique. Called Purification. If learned they can gain Incredible power at the cost of turning pure evil as the mind of Kid Buu rests in the soul of every Majin. Some can control it some can simply direct the destruction but it’s a dangerous transformation not freely taught.

At the time of the MMO a lot of things happen. Namakians take refuge on Earth after the equivalent of the Namakian Devil emerges on their planet. Theirs a soldier who discovers the remains of Frieza’s Tail that Krillin cut off. In it holds the Ki of Frieza and eating it have him the strength of Frieza. Towa and Mira first appear here and use this Tail and the Scatter Cells of Cell to make a monstrous fusion of the two. Fittingly this is also the origin of the Time Patrol as we stumble on random time rifts where we have to quietly make sure history follows its course. We also learn how Vegeta and Goku die. When they get old the elderly Sayain leave to train a solar system away. No one knows what happened during their training but Bulma observed that Solar System experienced a Supernova and the two Sayains never came back. It’s suspected that the two had one last fight with each other that resulted in the destruction of an entire Solar System.

On that note though many of the Z Warriors started their own schools and others upheld the schools that taught them their skills. Tien taught the Crane School of Martial Arts as well as his own techniques and same with Krillin and the Turtle School. Goku and Vegeta weren’t those kinds of teachers and would prefer to train students personally. This how many of the classic techniques are known to our player characters.

You were like Bulma in the original story, searching for the dragonballs, only you wish to revive your parents. On the way, you meet Goku who has the fourth star dragonball

He doesn’t want to deliver it to you , so you threaten and start to fight him.

„I don’t like to kill children but if you stand in my way I have to!“

Being very ruthless and reckless at the beginning.

Later on, being interrupted from others who want to steal the dragonball, you fight with Goku together against them and being quite a team.

After this you decide to search the dragonballs together and tell him he can revive his grandfather, too.

Both going to an adventure and train a lot together.

You are a swordfighter and held magic power so you can hold yourself against sayains as a human.

You change into a merciful and a strong warrior.

There is an endless trust between you and Goku.

Kuririn tries to hit on you but he is more like a fun friend to you.

You smashed Yamcha to pulp at you first meeting.😂😂 Poor guy.

In the end, you realized that you should not wish to revive your parents and accept it that it shouldn’t be changed.

Even as adults, you being with Goku the golden duo.

The son of Goku loves you and you love him. You being his favourite aunt.

You live alone with the help of Bulma and you help her.

Raditz surprised you and knocked you out directly. In the end, you have many insecurities and blame yourself that Goku had died.

With the knowledge of other sayains coming to earth, you train like hell and enter sometimes the session with Piccolo and Gohan.

Piccolo is a weird guy at the beginning but easy to hang out and you start to appreciate him. He knows how strong you are and feels that you became a lot stronger

„No Y/N, you fight as last. You are our trump card!“ Piccolo said, after you want intervene as you saw already two friends dying.

In the end, you had to fight Nappa. He was easy to defeat but played a bit with him because you wanted to restore time until Goku came back from the dead.

Yet, you didn’t kill Nappa like Goku would.

„If I would I’d be exactly like you. I am not and I can hurt you more letting you alive!“

Well: Vegeta killed Nappa and there is your new foe.

You knew how much stronger he was. Actually, you two danced around a bit, finding the weakness of each.

„Not Bad, Woman. But if I get serious, you would be already dead.“

„Well, I could say the same to you…“

Finally, Goku arrived and fought the first half against Vegeta alone.

On Namek, you team up with Vegeta a lot against Freezers army. He caught you on your way to search of the Dragonballs. He wanted to stop you until a soldier Freezer appears and somehow you two fought along.

At the arrival, of The Ginyu Force, you, Gohan, Kuririn and Vegeta formed an official alliance against them. Goku appears like always later.

Before the fight with Freezer, you all were resting and you exchanged some words with Vegeta.

„What Are you going to do after you defeated freezer ?“

„Fighting against Kakarott of course !“

„And then?“

„…. Finding another who- … why do you wanna know?“

Pursing lips and shrugging you shoulders: „No idea, just wanted to break the silence…“

Vegeta starts to get irritated from your nice behavior towards him and can’t stop watching from times with interest…

You both curious of each other and learn that you have much in common. In the past you were like him. Ruthless, proud and an idiot.

Of course you protect him many times from Freezer attacks, definitely as he breaks and tears up because he is frustrated. After a while, he caught himself up again and stopped Freezer from killing you.

In the end, he gets still shot through his chest while Goku appears. You understood him and tears fall down at your cheeks as you watch him taking his last breaths.

Vegeta seems quite not to understand your tears and is firstly triggered if you pity him.

You agreed with „I do.“ and wished for him after this to have a better and happier life than just of revenge for his race and the hope defeating freezer.

Freezer is stopped from Goku by turning SS the first time.

Back on earth, You are happy seeing all friends alive and wished Goku survived Namek.

The folks of namekians were taken care of Bulma a close friend of yours.

Kuririn„What’s with Vegeta? He just can’t left alone on earth. What knows what he will do?“

Your gaze rose towards him and he held yours. You walk towards him and he avoids you staring and looks back as he notices your approach.

„So what are you doing now?“

„ Like I said: I wait for Kakarot until he is back and fight him.“

„Sure… Yet, waiting all this time on this tree?“

„If need to be….“

„How about you come with me?“

„What?!…“

„Y/N?! Are you crazy!“ „That is dangerous!“ „What is on your mind?“

„Better than not knowing where he is?“

Gohan: „Actually, Vegeta comes along quite good with Y/N. I think that works!“

Kuririn: „Oh well, yeah but …“

You: „When you came to know him, he is nice!“

Vegeta: „Excuse me… I am still here?“
