          𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐎𝐎𝐍  𝐒𝐔𝐍  .  golden  light  floods  into  the  bedroom  ,  summer  breeze  rustles  through  pages  of  magazines  left  open  on  the  floor  .  the  radio  plays  (  ♪♫  𝑤𝑎𝑘𝑒  𝑚𝑒  𝑢𝑝  𝑏𝑒𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒  𝑦𝑜𝑢  𝑔𝑜  𝑔𝑜  ♫♪  )  at  half  volume  ,  and   the  fan  circles  lazily  above  them  .  see  :  the  zoomer  ,  at  peace  .   she  lays  on  top  of  blue  comforter  ,  tangerine  waves  fanned  out  around  her  .  feet  hanging  to  the  side  ,  they  kick  along  to  the  rhythm  of  the  song  .

                                                      ❛  so   ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶ ̶   ❜                                                   silence  breaks  ;  head  turns  slightly  to  the  side  .  

        VERONICA SAWYER  was a sign ,  a glorious BEACON for girls like hester !!  a perfect way into the cult  of HEATHER.  “ you are so  l u c k y  veronica ,  i can’t believe you actually get to breathe in the AEROSOL –  SOAKED  fumes wafting from HEATHER CHANDLER’S hair each and every morning . ”  she wonders how EASY it would be to strike a match and watch the girl’s entire HEAD erupt into flames.  still,  illusion of INNOCENCE is feigned by frumpy clothes and CLUNKY NECKBRACE.  “ you’re the first NON – HEATHER to ever make it into their ranks ,  you give girl’s like me  HOPE .  you’re an inspiration ,  a TRUE messiah !!  ”   flattery to a saviour complex is laid on THICK ,  doe - like  eyes fluttering EARNESTLY.   

2. what is more important to you, narrative or style ? if so, why, and how do you think you portray that in your writing ?

narrative is more important to me hands down. someone can have a pretty prose style, but if their writing doesn’t tell an engaging and captivating story then i’m not here for it tbh. that’s why i never shit on “purple prose”. cause if someone can pull it off while keeping a strong narrative that’s bomb!!! however that doesn’t mean style can mask a weak narrative. i think i show narrative in my writing with how conversational my style is when it comes to clint. on other blogs i’ve been able to use more of a flowery style, but it doesn’t seem to work for clint when it comes to shorter things. i’d like to think i’m able to find a balance between flowery and simple while being able to turn it up or down to match what’s appropriate with the scenario. nice.

4. without using your fc, describe your character physically - not just looks but also movement, posture, etc.

clint is a Big Boy. he’s 6′3″ and he’s honestly just. too large. 230 lbs of beef. his limbs are kind of too awkwardly long for a lot of things he does. ( for instance: when he sleeps he basically gets tied in knots with his sheets. ) because of this his gait is also Large. as in his strides are quite big. when he’s in a comfortable situation his gait is also relaxed and smooth. he’ll lean back when he’s walking, and gesture with his hands and head if he’s having a conversation. he’s a very expressionate person. if he’s signing this changes a bit because he has to turn a bit to face his partner. however, when he’s uncomfortable he does a 180. he slouches and crosses his arms and rubs his neck. if he’s on the move he shuffles his feet and keeps his head down. this all translates over to sitting in the same way. when it comes to facial features he has a tiny bit of a rounder face. not necessarily his bone structure, but more his cheeks. his jawline isn’t super sharp but it’s There, and his brow isn’t particularly low. his eyes are hooded and a very light powder blue. they’re not striking upon first glance but they’re definitely eye catching. most of his body hair is light blonde, and so are his eyelashes and eyebrows, though they’re a bit darker than the rest. he’s also usually unshaven. scruffy boi. i’ve already made posts about his physical build tho so.. go find those if u want more !!

                    ‘ is that a cat? has—  has someone brought a cat to school? ’  it can’t be a stray. even if street cats weren’t exponentially too skittish to get anywhere near the university, much less wander inside, it looks far too clean. and there it is, sat outside his lecture hall like it’s waiting patiently for the next class to begin.  ‘ ——-  post-secondary has changed since i graduated. ’
