questa è una delle tradizioni che amo di più del mio paese. Casse lignee del seicento portate da gente che in chiesa ci entra giusto per qualche funerale, due bestemmie e magari un po’ di fresco quando sono 40 gradi all’ombra.

detto ciò, è indescrivibile la sensazione.

la banda, gli incappucciati, la storia che si snocciola a ritmo di litanie e colpi di martello.

il tutto in una calda serata di aprile.

venerdì santo non è forse un giorno di festa, non propriamente, ma l’attesa di questo momento per ogni savonese è simile a quella dell’attesa di babbo natale.
