#save section 230

You know what I'm just going to say it I think The only reason the government is attacking section 230 is because Donald Trump just had to make it a problem and people started talking more about Palestine and turning against Israel and the government saw that and didn't like that so they want to repeal section 230 so they can censor anybody who criticizes the government or is not pro Israel

And all of this horrible discourse started it in 2016 (I think?) and late 2017 and started in 2018 and 2019 and here we are now we're constantly having to fight with the government to just leave section 230 alone At this point every time they talk about section 230

being repealed/reformed we should just boycott the government and refuse to buy or do anything that gives them profit until they decide to leave that very law alone but not everyone is going to agree and some boomers think America is the greatest country to ever exist which in fact it is not

So I will give you a good old reminder we cannot trust the government no matter what they say we cannot trust the independence we cannot trust the Republicans we cannot trust the The president we cannot trust anyone in this government They have made a very clear it is us against them

And they will do everything in their power to crush our freedom of speech take away A03 take away basically everything we enjoy because there are thousands of Democrats in the Epstein files some have likely participated in the abuse they're just redacted This is not about protecting children This is about surveillance control and censorship nothing else

Basically a company cannot be sued for every little thing someone post on their website It also gives companies the ability to regulate and take down things that go against their policies and allow parents to have parental controls to filter out what they do not want their child seeing

It also protects artists music artists game artist basically almost all forms of freedom of speech especially creative freedom not to mention it protects fictional content

Repealing that very law will cause immense censorship and damage even end of censoring the government themselves because the government seems to forget It protects them too especially Donald Trump and his stupid ass that seems to throw a tantrum

and go tangents on truth social and even say the most horrendous and stupid things the type of stuff That section 230 protects and without section 230

he would be censored and taken down at any given moment including the Democrats the Republicans and the Independence spread misinformation and stay stupid and downright idiotic stuff

all the time the type of speech that section 230 protects as well hell it even protects conservative speech and without that very protection it would censor all of them and have them wash down because the companies don't want to be sued for every little thing the people in the government say

These are also the people that want The 17th amendment and the 14th amendment repealed and you know who really wants those repealed Oh that's right the heritage foundation

They want section 230 repealed as well even though they're basically shooting themselves in the head because section 230 protects their stupid asses and their conservative speech and adds all the time

And by repealing section 230 they will be censored and washed down or blatantly taken down because a company does not have the protection of section 230 and they do not want to be sued over the stupid crap

The heritage foundation says So all of them are shooting themselves in the foot and digging their own graves and they're going to have to end up lying in it

And they're going to face immense backlash from other countries who are their allies that end up using social media like Twitter Instagram Facebook etc basically almost all the apps from the US In the US government is going to face extreme backlash from Japan Germany Israel

yes especially Israel the country that The US government been sucking the dick of and throwing money at for who knows how many decades because

they're also getting censored and token down because they no longer have the protection of section 230 and it's going to be the US government's fault because of their reckless and idiotic behavior

And then we're going to have to deal with them whining and crying when they themselves are getting censored because of their poor decisions they're idiotic behavior and their lack of critical thinking I could go on

Parents be like: My child committed suicide because of big tank!!!!😭😥😟

Also parents:*proceed to get out of for ignoring their children's emotional and mental needs* oh My bad I was having a bad day 😔 But it's still Big tack fault!!🥺🥹 For my kid killing themselves not because I ignored them or neglected them!!!🥺🥺

My honest reaction:

Article 175 or section 230?

With my research I'm going to state what is more important

Section 230 is more important because It is a core protection for anti-censorship where a company cannot be held accountable for every little thing that the person posts They can be held accountable for certain things but not all things and removing it will cause irreparable damage and censorship

It also protects artists music artists music hell it even protects the people who are from Japan that use the apps from the US specifically Twitter and if that article is removed it will affect them as well

Article 175 of the Japanese penal code is not really important All it really does Is cause unnecessary censorship where it does ban obscene materials but All it really does is sensor genitalia in fictional content and real content which is unnecessary and stupid there's already lolicon in Japan and fictional incest So why the hell would they need to sensor genitalia

It's an unnecessary law that is stupid and causes censorship It's like a thorn in your side, I may not live in Japan myself but If I were an artist there I'd find it annoying too Especially when trying to enjoy sexual content just to see a bunch of censorship on genitalia.

I myself read sexual manga from Japan and it's really annoying seeing censorship on genitalia It makes it hard to enjoy

And if that very article is removed it won't change anything other than remove a bar of censorship which is a good thing However if we can't get it removed but rather reformed I'd take that too provided it at least removes the unnecessary censorship of genitalia in anime and manga and overall all fictional content

We also got to make sure all those horrible censorship bills don't go through especially kosa

We cannot afford to just wait we got to fight we do not have all the time in the world to waste

And as a good reminder This government has made it very clear that they do not give a fuck about what we want so we must fight them

so here's a good old reminder we cannot trust the Republicans we cannot trust the Democrats we cannot trust the independence we cannot trust anybody in this government And we need to make sure they do not get their way put pressure on them And don't you dare think that Kamala Harris is going to save us because she isn't

No it is not Politicians claim that tech companies have complete immunity, but this is a lie. Social media platforms can already be sued and held accountable for specific, severe crimes like sex trafficking and illegal content. Completely removing these legal protections (AKA section 230) will heavily backfire on the government. To avoid endless lawsuits, platforms will be forced to implement extreme censorship

Which will ultimately silence the very politicians who use these apps for their campaigns. Furthermore, because these are global platforms used by America's allies, this disruption will trigger severe international backlash against the U.S. government for its poor decision-making and idiotic behavior

Especially if they go through with those horrible bills especially kosa Because it will ultimately backfire on them In result in backlash censorship and likely embarrassing half-hearted apologies were there basically forced to put back the laws after facing the sting of their actions
