With the election being so close I wanted to make this post. I’m really fucking scared right now. I live in a very red area where there is a trump vance sign every few feet and zero Kamala signs. As a very closeted trans masc person (thankfully I am very femme presenting so that’s not a worry), I’m too scared to get any gender affirming things (mostly a binder right now).
Im also even more scared that I will just be shot randomly since even though I’m not trans presenting I’m very obviously queer.
So as a result even though I’m hoping it doesn’t happen, if trump wins, I will be deleting this and all other social media accounts I have (including my ao3 account), since they all include political views/support towards marginalized groups. Please stay safe if you are in the us and if you are 18+ and care about people’s future and happiness please please please go and vote for Kamala Harris.
This is Ahmed al-Ahmed, the man who risked his own life at Bondi Beach, disarming one of the shooters.
Ahmed is a father of two and a local fruit shop owner who had never held a gun before. When strangers were in danger, Ahmed stepped up, risking his own life to save others. He was shot twice and is currently hospitalized.
Money was raised to support Ahmed and his family as he recovers.
Ahmed has an important message for the world. ❤️

Thick thighs save lives they say.. who needs to be saved?
My friend is in need of HIV/AIDS medication for at least a few months. I'm unemployed/jobless, and they live in a refugee camp.
It's basically exactly that. They live in a refugee camp, and 15 people have HIV/AIDS. We're hoping to raise enough money to at the very least support them for a few months, which translates to about $2000 USD, but any donation is okay.
As you see, I have photos, but if you meed more proof, they are able to provide.

Protecting Outdoor Cats This Winter
❄️ Winter is here! The temperatures are dropping rapidly, and the cold is upon us. I urge everyone to please protect stray and outdoor cats during this harsh season.
Even if you only have a little time in your day, please consider how frighteningly cold it is for cats who cannot protect themselves. You can make a real difference in their lives.
First, please leave food out for the cats. Not just in front of your door—if possible, leave it around your block. During the winter, cats need safe places to hide from the wind and cold. If they have to leave their shelter to search for food, they risk hypothermia or other dangers. By leaving food out, you give them a chance to stay safe and warm. Hunger and cold together are a cruel combination. Be kind and don’t scare away a hungry cat—they depend on us.
Second, consider making an outdoor cat shelter. They are easy and inexpensive to build, and there are many tutorials available online. I’ve made two myself, and they work wonderfully! A simple shelter can provide warmth, safety, and hope to a cat struggling in the winter.
Please, take a moment to help. You could save a cat from this freezing winter today.
Spread the word and encourage others to build these simple shelters! By taking action, you can do something positive for both your community and the animals who rely on us for care and protection. Every small effort can make a huge difference for these vulnerable cats.
Happy Endings!
Here are some of our rescue kitties, each finally in a happy home! We hope you enjoy the pictures & short stories!
Our D Kittens, Daniel, Dinah, & Daisy, were abandoned with their mom when they were tiny. Their feeder was eventually able to catch them, although separately, & we were able to take them in.
Daniel, the only boy, was with us since late December, but found the perfect family almost a month later & is now good friends with a Lab named Buddy!
We got Dinah, the runt & Daniel's twin, in mid-January, & she was adopted just a few days later & now has multiple cat siblings & 2 nice people!
Daisy, the last to be caught, was with us since January 17. Exactly a month & 1 day later, she was adopted!
Thunder Cat, an adolescent kitten, was found abandoned at one of the neighbors' houses when he was about 6 months old. The neighbors fed him & we began looking for someone to take him in about 2 months later when we found out about him. We took him in when a wonderful family fell in love with him & he is now doing great in his new home!
Ralphie, our adorable 5 year old gentle giant, abandoned at the White City Park, was able to find his furever family after only 1 & ½ weeks of waiting with us! Trapped at the park for TNR, Ralphie was originally going to be returned back, but he was too friendly & now the rest is history!
Lives are saved because every cat adopted means that we can rescue & foster another! This is what happens when people are willing to open up their hearts & homes to a new cat or kitten! Thank you to all who adopt & all who help other homeless cats find furever families! God is so good & without Him we wouldn't be doing this!
If you are thinking about adopting a new cat, please don't hesitate to contact us! We know of several young adult cats who need homes & we'll definitely end up with more kittens eventually!
