GUARDIANs are a highly respected position in ELYSIUM, though is also one that is difficult to maintain. Their role is often to be the overseer of mortal lives, helping guide or protect them without making direct contact with them (as protocol dictates, though some (mostly Sauriel) tend to bend the rules). While there isn't specifics to which GUARDIAN is assgned to which mortal, some may be assigned to specific kinds of people depending on their personalities.
(ex: Sauriel is often assigned to those who are reckless and more free-spirited, the kind of people who, intentionally or not, tend to neglect their lives. He will watch over them until they learn to properly cherish, or acknowledge, the life they live. Once that happens, his assignment is over, and that mortal may be given a more standard GUARDIAN afterwards.)
ENFORCERs are keepers of peace and order, not just in ELYSIUM, but in the world as a whole as well. Their duties mainly consist of upholding the Veil between the universes, and dealing with anything malicious or dangerous that slips or breaks through; otherwise, they're also helpers in menial tasks or hard labor. Their H.A.L.O.s are special, in that they're specifically upgraded and modified to have features that would allow it to be used as a weapon/tool. This is the reason for the H.A.L.O. of an ENFORCER having a more unique shaoe. Overall a very reliable rank of Angels, even if some tend to be intimidated by them.
Idk if anyone pointed that out yet, but I had a big brain moment and looked up the name Halbrand. Turns out, it consists of germanic haldr - rock, and brandt - fire.
And Galadriel's plotline in the show literally starts when she finds a FIRE sigil on a ROCK 🤯

Okay I know other people have mentioned this but like, Morgoth almost had his heart turned by staring at the Silmarils...
Which were inspired by Galadriel...
I sense a parallel here. 👀 Only Sauron does get his heart all a flutter (if not “turned” from evil) by the actual Galadriel, and not just her beauty and light—her darkness, too.
