my pinterest has GOT to stop shutting down on me mid collage.... it resets every single time 😭😭 I've redone this thing like 4 times because of it.... still, I really like how it turned out

i live a human life and have human joys and human woes

but when i walk in the woods, play music, or simply lose myself in the pleasure of living, i feel it in my heart and in my soul

i feel it in the way the earth imprints beneath my cloven hooves

i feel it in the way the breeze shifts through my hair

when i headbutt my friends in affection or play, they may not feel them, but my horns are there

sometimes i have to pretend these parts of me arent real, to blend in with the humans for a while

i need to play their games their way to live the life i was born into

but i always return to myself eventually

like slipping into a cool stream, all the familiar parts of me return in refreshing clarity

i remove my human problems along with my human clothes

i sing and eat and love and dance in the ways that come most naturally to me
