Ingredients: 4 bone-in pork chops. Salt and black pepper to taste. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 teaspoons garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 large onion, thinly sliced. 2 cups chicken broth.
Instructions: On both sides, season the pork chops with salt and black pepper. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to a shallow dish and mix them together. Make sure each pork chop is evenly covered in the seasoned flour mix. Put the vegetable oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. Put the pork chops in the pan and cook them on both sides. Take it out and set it aside. Add the thinly sliced onions to the same pan and cook them until they get soft and golden brown. Bring the pork chops back to the pan and place them in the middle of the onions. Cover the pork chops and onions with chicken broth. Keep the lid on the pan and cook on low heat for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the pork chops are soft. Put the pork chops on a plate and top them with a lot of the tasty onion gravy. Enjoy Miss Robbie's Smothered Pork Chops, which tastes great!
