- After welcoming Satipo into your home he was quite the mess.
- He had earth and mud staining all of your carpets but particularly your couch it was crazy.
- But what could you do? He was coming all the way from the jungle where he’d lived all his life. Life in a South-American jungle isn’t easy.
- Satipo was also not the best at speaking English, so communication was proving to be hard, as you were indicating him to hand you his bag.
- Why he was carrying around all those gadgets and tools on his back you couldn’t exactly understand. You even found a pot in there. But you couldn’t help but find it the most adorable thing. Satipo was just worried all the time that he would run out of something he might need.
- Once you disposed of his backpack you started to wipe clean his hands and his face with a wet cloth. He had way too much mud and musk everywhere.
- You’d regularly made sure though to apologize for the breach of space - you didn’t want to intrude and send him any signals of being overbearing - to which Satipo replied with a smile and a nod. He couldn’t express how much he appreciated your support.
- If there was any fear in Satipo that you might judge him for his dirtiness you put him at ease with how understandably and carefully you’d wiped his muddy hands.
- You then allowed him to use your bath and shower (which you had to explain to him of course).
- Once Satipo understood you gave him privacy while leaving behind a couple of towels and clean clothes for him to put on after and you went about your things as he tended to his full cleaning.
- When Satipo finally came out he looked like a complete new person. His hair still wet and the clear expression on his face which you could see was from pure relief. You observed his now clean skin which you could gladly see he’d moisturized.
- He no longer had smudges and blotches of dirt on his face and he smelled of actual shampoo and soap. And fragrant coconut oil.
- He almost spoke in order to express his gratitude as he sat down on his bed, but your smile let him know that you were telling him he’d actually done it all by himself. You were simply a helping hand.
- Satipo had so many new things to look forward to, and many things to learn, which of course you were going to guide him through with love and understanding, but right now all he wanted was simply a hot meal. He felt his neck which felt so much lighter now and smiled.
- Good thing you’d popped in two microwaveable dinners just a few minutes earlier. Now you just had to find out how Satipo was going to feel about those XD.
