There was a time when Sasuke gave a damn about Rock Lee's existence LOL (during the chunin exam arc).
He copied Lee's moves to fight that guy in the preliminaries. And then copied him AGAIN to fight Gaara.
Like, Lee was literally his muse during the training leading to the duels?? He trained specifically Lee's taijutsu style. Bushy Brows lived in Sasuke's mind rent free for like a month.

Summary: After an intense training session with Anko, Sasuke starts to worry about the effects of his curse mark. Not only that, but he keeps thinking about his evil brother. All of that worry starts to make his neck itch.
However, he notices Lee swimming in the river. His bright smile and upbeat energy encourage Sasuke to swim with him. As it turns out, Lee can ease his itch 9and his worries) in a way that nothing else can.
