I call it Selective Amnesia. 😆 I’ve had this sketch in mind for a long time, why can’t Crowley remember anyone’s name except for one particular person? Simple, he hates everyone except ONE.
Jokes aside, we still don’t know if his amnesia is real or intentional, showing two similar situations in the same series cannot be a coincidence, rather a clue that Neil gave us. I think this is going to be important. Could the angel Crowley’s memories have been erased by Metatron or is it just a “bad guy”attitude? Maybe I will send him a question!
Just thought of something about Saraquel during a rewatch of season 2. When Crowley is in heaven with Muriel doing his bee impression, Saraquel finds them looking at the meeting in which it's revealed that Gabriel refused to initiate Armageddon in the second coming. She low key threatens Muriel about "collaborating with the enemy" after reminding Crowley of their previous working relationship before allowing them to view the trial of Gabriel.
So what I'm thinking is, why did she let Crowley see the trial? Why didn't she stop them? Either she's trustworthy and was just pretending to think of Crowley as an enemy. Alternatively, she's working for the Matron (creep features!) and was luring Crowley into an unknown trap for the future happenings in the season 3 finale. Or she's just leaking intel to the .etatron after this. What do you all think? 🧐
What kind of angel is Saraquel? Because they're not an archangel in a way other archangels are archangels. You can see that Gabriel, Michael and Uriel are wearing those grey suits as a uniform. It's even emphasised when they are trying to change Gabriel's rank and he's not allowed to keep his clothes.
But Saraquel is wearing a white jacket, which is very similar to Crowley's one. And we know they had been working together and that Crowley used to be pretty high ranking angel. I know it's nothing revolutionary but I haven't seen anyone talking about this before and it gives us hints about who crowley might have been.
And yes, it also means that Aziraphale has to change his outfit.

it is on this particular chill and rainy morning that i open the tumblr app to ask, once again, the gomens fandom to enlighten me.
i have finished my rewatch the other day, i was shocked and heartbroken as usual ... until my brother (shout out to him, little innocent genius) pointed out one thing that stopped every thought rushing through my head.
as we know clothing is very symbolic in the good omens universe - that's why colors code an entity's background, indicating whether they are angels or demons.
many of us have already settled that the only angel to dress is proper fresh total white on earth is muriel. all other heavenly entities wear different shades of grey when visiting our planet (i guess they're all at leazt morally guilty of some kind of action going against heaven's rules) and one angel in particular dresses in vintage beige-palette clothes.
demons usually wear anything with dark tones (doesn't really matter if it's pure black or dark green/blue/red etc.).
therefore, i'm really curious to hear your opinions on why the freaking metatron presents himself on earth wearing such dark clothes ???? black tie, dark coat, dark trousers, black shoes ???? and just a white shirt ???? the only other thing that's so light is his freaking facial hair ?????
i've always thought the metatron wasn't a saint's shank but what the heck ???? this whole color-coding thing is inducing me to think he's far worse than i've imagined ..
what do you think ??? i'm genuinely curious. i also wonder if this has anything to do with the metatron's offer to aziraphale and if it is going to play a big role in the upcoming season

Sometime after the Fall, when Saraquel had been reassigned to Heavenly Security, Solisel brought them the first version of their flying chair.
“Have you heard anything about my brother?” she whispered as she assisted Saraquel into the chair. “Lunael and I are positive he wasn’t among the prisoners we forced out of Heaven, but we can’t find him anywhere!”
Saraquel had already reviewed the list of the Fallen, and they shook their head. “He’s been sent to Hell.”
“For how long? When will She show mercy and bring the rebels back?”
“They are damned to suffer for Eternity, Solisel. I’m so sorry. All of us know someone among the demons, but we have to accept that they are lost to us.”
