Saw this amazing post by @passionpeachy for a couple's sweater idea and thought "Wait, this is literally Rupphire!"

There is this rather bizarre reasoning that Enid MUST change Wednesday in order to get engaged to her, presenting the whole thing in an extremely negative light.

But excuse me... don't you want the characters to evolve?

Wednesday has changed thanks mainly to Enid. The concept of opposites attracting also means this: Enid evolves by accepting Wednesday, and reciprocally, Wednesday evolves by changing to stay closer to Enid.

When two personalities are opposites (or extremely different), confrontation and evolution are what allow the two people to get to know each other better and change for the better.

Wednesday has shown that she only causes damage by trying not to change and continuing to be obtuse and arrogant.

The series tells us several times that Wednesday is hurting herself by behaving that way, and only by changing can she evolve.

Episode 6 is proof of this.

Although the girls continue to fight (which annoys me because they should have accepted each other since the end of the first season), the body swap allowed Wednesday to “change” her point of view about Enid.

This change is portrayed in a positive light, as opposed to seeing a gloomy Wednesday who suppresses her feelings and gives way to darker emotions.

It is still possible for Wednesday to be herself, but to do so she needs to change and push Enid to do the same, because I hope Enid doesn't always remain the same.

This reminds me of many other sapphic ships that I love, which are based on this type of relationship.
