Sharp, rapid inhale of breath - so sudden, almost choking on the amount of air that was forced down his throat. He was completely engrossed within his mind; thoughts pounding their way through with a rampant rage. Pounding every other thought and emotion the boy may have had in that moment; diluting the senses until nothing else could break through the waves of anxiety and distress in that moment.
Blearily, a single moment - he was aware someone, or something had came into his field of vision; a matter of fact - restricting his sight to who, or what, that item was. Garbled noise reached his ears; their whispers swirling, but unfortunately for the pair - no words could make sense in this fragile state of mind. He was sure the cracks appearing in his brain had snapped through his entire head; if the wetness dripping down his cheeks gave an indication. When exactly had moisture started leaking from his eyes? No idea, the thought broke in; immediately being swallowed by the dark cavern.
Suddenly; everything just grinded to a halt so fast, he felt he was flying through a windshield - being pretty sure his body had flung forward in a slingshot. A single, exhausted blink - finally being able to at least register the strong, grounding, warm arms that had wrapped around his form. The hug was comforting, full of scents that soothed him; fabric he could rest his cheek against. A bear hug, the boy realised - after all, he was almost ascending from the ground with the force of the hug.
“All….All Might.” The choking breath was back, restricting his words to the point of coming out strangled. Shaking, scarred hands slowly wrapped their way back around his mentor - the tremors rocking his very core slowly receding, a minuscule exhale - eyelids closing, resting carefully on a broad shoulder. Everything had stopped in their tracks, his mind shutting down.
“T-Thank you…I-I’m fine now, because you’re here.”
