#sango x reader

Amethio probably wouldn't use any as they feel awkward coming out of his mouth, but when he warms up to dating,,, he'll attempt to use some, but most of them end up being some sort of nickname,

Spinel would use 'darling' or 'dear', sometimes he uses 'love', the words roll off his tounge easily and it sits right with him. If you know about his involvement with the Explorers, he will call you his 'gem' as a nod to his fascination with Rakua and to subtly hint that he cares about you a lot.

Sango would be torn between giving you cursed nicknames and normal ones. Her go-to nicknames are

Onyx is rather traditional when it comes to dating and anything similar. He'll probably use nicknames that are similar to your name.

Friede isn't someone who uses terms of endearment often, he prefers to use nicknames and inside jokes between the two of you as he sees it as something more intimate and something that shows off your bond more than calling you "babe" ever will. (Even if that means calling you something that everyone would give weird looks at)

Gibeon would call you 'love' or 'darling', it doesn't matter if he's dating you when you're younger, or when the two of you are older. He prefers those nicknames.

Murdock uses terms relating to food, sweets, or anything that sounds sweet. The nicknames he likes the most are 'darling', 'sweetheart' and 'love'.

Conia would give you softer and cuter nicknames, some include softer versions of your name. She really likes using '

Kieran is pretty new to dating -plus, you're his first partner- so he'd still be experimenting with different nicknames, but he often uses shorter versions of your name alongside 'Sunflora' and his 'Applin' (it slipped out once, and he thought that it was cute enough to keep around),

Raihan would have different nicknames depending on your personality. If you're sleepy, he'd call you his 'Dreepy' since it sounds a lot like 'sleepy'. But he'd usually go for nicknames that relate to dragon types. He also likes calling you 'Treasure' as dragon types love treasure, and he loves you.

Naraku: (Technically he already has a gang of kids but anyways). Naraku's issue with children is partially a genetics issue. He has his reincarnations-- which he doesn't consider his children-- but they're 100% demons. Whether you're a human or demon, the fact remains that he's a half demon and the thought of a human child disgusts his demon sensibilities and the thought of a demon child disgusts his human sensibilities. Even if you were to adopt, you'd run into the same issue-- Naraku's just not equipped for the kind of selfless love that raising children requires and you'd have to be incredibly selfish (and foolish) to attempt to bring a child into the situation you have going on with him.

1-2 kids

Sesshomaru: Although he may say otherwise during his rut, Sesshomaru is actually very meticulous and intentional about the amount of children he wants to have. The both of you have several long talks about your desires and the amount of children you'd feel comfortable having/supporting. Ultimately, I think Sesshomaru would aim for just one additional child. Another thing that causes him stress is the introduction of sibling dynamics into your small family. He worries that his children will inherit the strained relationship he has with his brother and he doesn't want the two of them to feel like they have to fight over their inheritance. Ultimately though, his worries prove futile as Rin is the best big sister and dotes on her younger sibling who in turn follows her around like a duckling.

Kikyo: Due to her being killed at such a young age, Kikyo never really got the chance to think seriously on if she wanted children. She had devoted her life to being a miko and she was pretty young when she died so she never got to challenge that decision with a desire for a family. Of course, she loves her younger sister and raises her but that's different. I think that Kikyo would have one child though, likely adopted or fostered but one that she raises to be a miko like her. Of course, if her child didn't want that path, she'd respect it but she'd teach them everything she knows regardless.

Sango: I think Sango is one of the only people on the list that's flexible when it comes to kids. She's relatively neutral when it comes to the topic of kids and she's more than comfortable with following your lead on them. Ultimately I can see Sango with one or two kids as family is important to her but not so important that it would greatly effect your relationship.

3-4 kids

Inuyasha: I think Inuyasha has a deep-rooted desire for family that never really manifests until you manage to get him down long enough to have a conversation about his feelings. Initially, the thought terrifies him, so overwhelmed with want as soon as he speaks the idea into existence that he doesn't know how to handle it. With time though (and a lot of inner work), Inuyasha's desire to have a pretty large family is spoken of. Of course, he'd respect your wishes-- he'd honestly be fine with no kids-- but part of him can't help but desire a small gaggle of children with you.

Omg that's a small army

Bankotsu: Somebody tell this man to relax. Anyway that you can have kids, he's taking it. You can get pregnant? You're gonna need to remind him that you need to heal before trying to have another baby again. You want to adopt? Sure! He'll just kill the parents of the cutest kid in town and boom-- parents. (You have to gently steer him away from this course of action because he will do it). Overall, Bankotsu easily finds himself comfortable with the idea of having at least seven kids (no reason for that number in particular, it just 'feels right', he says) and he will try to sway you if you don't want that many or don't want kids, so, good luck!

Koga: Unlike Sesshomaru, this man talks a lot of shit during his rut and means it. I think Koga also just has team dad energy so if the two of you have one kid, but your kid ends up making friends, Koga becomes those kids' dad too-- much to the dismay of your actual child. Though Koga often speaks of wanting anywhere from 8-12 kids (depending on the day), he ends up having that many and more because he becomes a father figure to any child that needs him.

A finger lightly tracing the underside of one of Sango’s breasts tickled the skin there, encouraging goosebumps to rise and cover that area.

“Stop it, I’m sensitive there!” Sango huffed, gently swatting your hand away, though it did no good as your hand disobeyed her request and ventured further up to cup a boob of hers.

An experimental squeeze sent a rush of heat to Sango’s face, the redness traveling up to the tips of her ears; making them burn and itch.

“O-oh my, y/n…!” Sango, flustered, went to grab your hand; but your’s was quicker, snatching her wrist and holding it hostage as your other hand undid the obi to your Yukata.

The night was young, and you were certain you were going to have tons of fun once Sango relaxed and you got to make her feel good.

Inuyasha

To be honest, I feel he wouldn't understand at all what that means at first.

But he's willing to learn and listen to you. (Still doesn't understand it all...especially doctor jargon)

And you think he isn't listening to you at some point, and then he surprises you by remembering and saying something that you had told him.

His personality is quite brash, so I feel like he's one that seems very strong on the forefront, but secretly studies as much as he can to help you and make you more comfortable.

I definitely think he tries to keep you comfortable. Puts a blanket over you and pats it or rubs your arms and hands if you're cold, or takes it off. Secretly pays very close attention to your cues and body language. Makes sure you have lots of water and adequate rest.

And I feel like he'd go to every appointment with you, arms crossed and face a bit unreadable beneath his baseball cap.

You might catch him crying secretly at night sometimes, but it's only because he loves and cares about you so much, darling. (Bh-huh!? Inuyasha!? Nahhhh >.> You didn't hear that from me!)

And if you need more severe treatments such as blood transfusions, bone marrow, etc, I feel he definitely has them check if he's a match for you first.

He's so loyal. If you're hospitalized or just going to doctors a lot, no matter what it is, he's always by your side.

And be sure to let him know if you're tired or anything! I'm sure he will give you as many piggybacks and let you rest as much as you need while he also keeps careful watch and rests with you.

Overall, he's the best S/O and caretaker he can be to you. I think he might only argue with you if you argued with him over the prices of treatments. Because it's your life and that doesn't matter if you feel better. He'll find a way.

Sango

She's such a sweetie. Even if you identify as a male or whatever you prefer, I feel she always brings you flowers and tries to make you smile in some way.

Works hard to also make sure you are comfortable and your needs are always taken care of.

Research to the end of the world to try to understand you and your condition better.

Like Inuyasha, she is always by your side, especially at appointments and checkups.

If you have to undergo any surgeries or transfusions, she makes sure she's the first person you see besides the doctors.

Is good about reminding you and keeping you on track with your schedule and appointments, medicines, but also dates! Also definitely tries to help you with preventatives to keep you healthy.

I feel her favorite thing is to go out with you to cafes on days you feel well enough to.

Tries to help doctors find you a match for transfusions or marrow if you need it.

She wants to be with you every step of the way. No matter how difficult or easy your path may be.

Sensitive but strong herself, I feel like the two of you can have heart-to-heart talks and rest in each other's arms when it's too stressful. She'll either listen or cry with you.

Just know she's always there and is always fighting beside you.

Miroku

This guy, ahahaha. But no. I feel he adds a bit to your stress since he's a womanizer sometimes...but just know, he's all yours and his heart will always be yours. He looks, but definitely WON'T touch.

I feel he's always trying to make you smile and laugh.

Definitely uses those flirty antics of his to try.

May convince you to have his child...ONLY IF YOU WANT TO.

If this happens, and it possibly causes your pain or anything to be more severe, I really think he feels guilty though.

Definitely seeks care for you and the baby always.

And if you decide not to, that's fine too!

He may seem a bit aloof sometimes, but he really is very serious about you.

I think his aloofness is caused by him being deep in thought about how he can better help and care for you quite honestly. Or if he can try to understand you better.

I feel he's the one to ask the doctors questions and try to help you figure things out better too.

He may miss one or two appointments every now and then, but he'll show up late...with some flowers and maybe your favorite snack in hand or stuffed animal too! (He took too long picking them out honestly.)

She didn’t think it’d be difficult or as intense as the tv dramas made it seem. Only because she wanted to prove her family wrong, Kagome persevered and became a decent detective. Her intuition has yet to steer her wrong and she was able to handle domestic disputes better than most. She shocked her family when she announced that she was being promoted. They saw her lack of ambition and didn’t think she’d make it for so long, they were glad to be proven wrong.

She almost lost her job when she casually met Inuyasha outside of work. Kagome wasn’t familiar with his line of work since she didn’t deal with crime syndicates. She was shocked to learn that he was on the watchlist since Inuyasha seemed to be more considerate than his brother and father. He’d help communities that struggled financially or didn’t have access to much food. His altruistic nature made her believe he was a caring guy that put on a tough front. How was she supposed to know he inherited an illegal business?

Former special agent in charge, Kikyo warned her that she couldn’t have both. A relationship with Inuyasha and a career as a government agent. Yet, Kagome miraculously managed to convince her boss that Inuyasha, while born into a corrupt family, wasn’t a real threat and was more focused on being a great man. You could understand why Kikyo felt envious of Kagome’s unique situation. Especially when Inuyasha would visit her, as a friend, with Kagome on his arm.

KOGA

Koga has been surrounded by violence for the entirety of his childhood. Yet it was never a problem for him. His family founded a biker gang years ago and chose to uphold its lethal legacy. Through this, they’ve created generational wealth and joining was considered a rite of passage. Koga had no issue being trained to lead the gang once he became sixteen. All he saw was a family that’d do anything to protect and care for one another.

At the start of his reign, Koga was unhinged and cared little about the casualties of civilians. Anyone that got in the way or happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time was dealt with. He had no clear limits as to what was too much other than betraying the gang. He didn’t care who was affected by the drug distribution so long as his family ate well! The community fearing him did nothing because it meant they knew better than to get in his way. It’s no shock that he was added to the government watchlist.

He and Inuyasha have a long-standing rivalry. Their gangs would often buttheads and taunt one another when in the same setting, but never going as far as killing each other. As Inuyasha slowly became a friend, the two decided to make a pact. Never infringing on each other’s territory and helping each other out when it comes to dodging the government. Being exposed to Inuyasha’s gang allowed Koga to extend compassion to civilians rather than using them as bait or carelessly mowing them down.

He decided to change the gang’s relationship with the public. Instead of causing mayhem and wreaking havoc, the gang started food drives for poor communities and built a community center for children and teens. During holidays the gang hands out gifts and fund events. Eventually, the community couldn’t find it in them to hate them when they provided more aid than the government. It wasn’t Koga’s intention to bribe them into minding their business but it’s nice to know they won’t be a problem.

MIROKU

After a tragic incident, Miroku lost both of his parents as a child. He was sent to a Buddhist temple where he was raised by his father’s friend Mushin. Having no shame, Miroku uses his practices to swindle rich people who’ve been nothing but greedy and generally repulsive. Stealing from their homes as he’d pretend to cleanse their homes and telling them they’d have to call him back to be in the clear. No matter how many times Mushin scolded him, Miroku didn’t change.

When he left the temple to travel around Japan he still performed his duties as a monk. Helping those in need and praying for those that asked. Although he needed money as a traveler, Miroku never hesitated to offer it to people that needed it. Sadly, his easy going life was always interrupted by constant violence in the cities. The civilians he assisted were usually victims of gang violence or had been affected by them in some way. It irked him to see their lives ruined by mindless fights and pointless drama.

He may have been a pacifist but Miroku wasn’t going to stand by as innocent people were being harmed. He was brave enough to confront Inuyasha for his heinous crimes only to be cursed out for his accusations. It wasn’t until he calmed down that Kagome explained that Naraku was at the root of it. Seeing his willingness to protect others, Kagome offered him an application for the force but he declined. He starts offering them useful information that he’s gathered. Because people love Miroku and he’s shown to have their best interest at heart they always share information trusting that he’ll use it to protect them.

SANGO

Sango is the pride and joy of her family. She comes from a long line of government officials and agents that have worked to keep Japan safe. Growing up she was involved in plenty of sports and martial arts lessons to increase her strength and agility. Her parents never forced her or her brother to choose hobbies that’d shape them into following their footsteps. They encouraged them to do whatever makes them happy, Sango wanted to follow their lead.

Given her family’s name and status, Sango did have the privilege to have a spot waiting for her in the federal bureaucracy. Although the position was handed to her by her parents, Sango proved that she was more than capable of filling the role. She was quickly becoming one of the best agents on the team. Not once failing to complete her duties and even taking down a handful of gangs and breaking up syndicates without a problem.

That only changed once she was ambushed during a take down. Her entire team was overwhelmed and outgunned. Most died on spot, the rest were sent to the emergency room in critical condition and didn’t make it. She was lucky to survive but didn’t feel too great. As if that wasn’t enough her family home was bombed by none other than Naraku, in an attempt to dissuade her from pursuing him.

Kohaku, her brother, was abducted by Naraku. The police told her to assume the worst since Naraku’s message was clear. Sango was unable to work with others or complete her duties. All she wanted was to find her brother. She’d put her life in danger and act out of desperation when she believed she was closer to finding him. Sabotaging missions for the sake of following red herrings. She was forced to take mental health breaks, having her weapons confiscated until she was in the right state of mind.
