Since Suibian recognizes WWX's core in JC, does that mean that Sandu has been reading JC as WWX for all these years and still let him wield it with no problem?
For those who haven't read my fic Beginning of the End, the plot is that JC finds out that WWX no longer has a Golden Core, but not that it was transferred to him (yet)... I'm writing chapter 4 rn, and so far, it's just JC looking at a neglected Suibian and thinking about all the time he tols WWX to carry his sword :(
He looks at Suibian when he rises. It is dusty, looking like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks where it had been hidden away. It probably hasn’t. It’s a sharp contrast from a few years ago when Wei Wuxian used to diligently tend to it, polishing it daily and keeping the sheath clear of any dust.
The starting is kinda sad :((((
Seeing Suibian dull like this felt like a slap to the face. He had been angry a few months ago, when he’d caught a glimpse of Suibian, and had yelled at Wei Wuxian to take care of his blade.
I feel like a monster for the next one >:)
If it was not for Wei Wuxian, he would’ve lost the chance to do it ever again. It was because of Wanyin, that Wei Wuxian can never ever do it for Suibian again. So he would do it in his place, he can’t cut out his core to give it to Wei Wuxian, but he could take care of Suibian for him.

Jiang Cheng paused, surprised at his lover’s suggestion.
Tilting Liu Qingge’s chin up so he could leave a kiss just below his ear, Jiang Cheng asked, “What did you have in mind?”
“Not my idea,” Liu Qingge admitted, sounding a bit miffed. “Cheng Luan.”
“What about it?”
Gentle footsteps alerted Jiang Cheng to the weapon’s human form, and it softly knelt next to him and Liu Qingge, its aura safe and protective like its wielder’s.
“Cheng Luan,” Liu Qingge said, his voice low with warning and rough with desire. “Share.”
Turning its attention to its wielder, Cheng Luan’s mouth twitched upward in a small smile. “Of course.”
Or: Jiang Cheng and Liu Qingge get freaky, Cheng Luan joins in, Sandu gets possessive and angry it's not being included, the swords and cultivators pair off, and things get freaky.
