Hi! Sandstars are actually endemic life from Monster Hunter Wilds -- they inhabit a specific region there. The game doesnโt give a lot of detailed info about them, but itโs confirmed that they feed on insects, and thatโs also why their fur glows๐ซ
My artwork is just my personal take on how they might interact with each other, since in-game theyโre usually seen running around alone -- so I like to imagine theyโre a bit more social when no hunters are watching (^>^)/๐
