Hi! Sandstars are actually endemic life from Monster Hunter Wilds -- they inhabit a specific region there. The game doesn’t give a lot of detailed info about them, but it’s confirmed that they feed on insects, and that’s also why their fur glows💫
My artwork is just my personal take on how they might interact with each other, since in-game they’re usually seen running around alone -- so I like to imagine they’re a bit more social when no hunters are watching (^>^)/🌟
