There were a great many faces which Tylan didn’t know. Names, yes, but faces were not a different story. They didn’t float around easily like names did.

Has your own interpretation changed from when you first began playing the character?

     Oh, good lord, yes. Two years ago, I feel my interpretation was fairly flat and one-dimensional and I truly didn’t understand Tyrion the way I do now. I think it’s part of why I really struggled to keep up with him and that account (additionally, I’ve become a lot more selective, because otherwise, and I know this from experience, there wouldn’t be a Tyrion in the first place, at least not by my hand, as I get overwhelmed way too easily). Especially since the reboot, my Tyrion has become a lot darker and I feel I’m much more in sync with the layers and pockets of him I had no feel for before. And honestly, all of that comes into my writing now, with every single post; to me, it helps me feel he’s more of a real muse to me than he’s ever been in the past, like he and I are actually fully connecting in a way I’ve been struggling to for the last two years. And honestly, I’m so proud of it and I’m not at all ashamed of that.
