Nunca imaginei que o final do verão na Califórnia me deixaria melancólica. Foi um desafio, não apenas devido aos acontecimentos em minha vida pessoal, mas também porque nunca enfrentei temperaturas de quase 40 graus quase todos os dias durante três meses, com uma umidade muito menor do que estou acostumada em Curitiba. Estive praticamente sozinha, realizando todas as atividades por conta própria e acreditando que há um propósito em passar por tudo isso. Foi um desafio não só mental e pessoal, mas também físico.

Embora outras prioridades tenham me impedido de desfrutar de algumas das experiências e atividades típicas do verão californiano, este tem sido um bom verão. Mesmo que em certo grau solitário, me aventurei em trilhas, me diverti derrapando na areia enquanto andava de bicicleta, visitei praias, descobri encantadoras lojas locais, criei um grupo de compras, absorvi mais sol em três meses do que em toda a minha vida, foquei nas redes sociais e nas mentorias, conquistei clientes maravilhosos, encarei 40 dias de jejum e oração. Percebi que, passo a passo, sem forçar nada, consegui crescer em todas as áreas da minha vida.

Este verão se apresentou como uma limpeza ativa em minha vida, não um período de descanso para recuperar as energias perdidas nos primeiros meses do ano, mas sim uma recuperação em movimento. Foi o momento de agir com mais energia, sem perder a diversão e a reflexão, equilibrando ação e contemplação. Entendi que as coisas acontecem como devem, no tempo certo, e cabe a mim manter a constância e a confiança de que tudo isso me levará a algum lugar, especialmente onde desejo chegar.

Não foi fácil, mas o segredo foi não tornar as coisas mais difíceis para mim mesma. Comecei a confiar e acreditar mais em mim, compreendendo que sou capaz e que é apenas uma questão de disciplina, força de vontade, sabedoria e muita paciência, porque crescer não é tarefa simples, mas permanecer estagnada é ainda pior.

Mesmo que eu não tenha feito tantas viagens e atividades quanto planejei, estou amando meu verão e sei que o próximo será ainda melhor.

I never imagined that the end of summer in California would leave me feeling melancholic. It was a challenge, not only because of everything that happened in my personal life, but also because I've never experienced temperatures of nearly 40 degrees Celsius almost every day for three months, with much lower humidity than I'm used to in Curitiba. I've been practically on my own, doing everything solo, and believing that there's a purpose in going through all of this. It's been a challenge, not just mentally and personally, but also physically.

Although other priorities prevented me from experiencing some of the typical summer activities here, it has been a good summer. Even though somewhat solitary, I ventured into trails, had some fun skidding on the sand while biking, visited beaches, discovered charming local shops, started a shopping group, soaked up more sun in three months than in my entire life, focused on social media and mentoring, acquired wonderful clients, and embarked on a 40-day journey of fasting and prayer. I realized that, step by step, without forcing anything, I managed to grow in all areas of my life.

This summer came as an active cleanse in my life, not a resting period to recharge from the energy depletion of the first months of the year, but rather a recovery in motion. It was the time to act with more energy, without losing sight of fun and reflection, balancing action and contemplation. I understood that things happen as they should, in their own time, and it's up to me to maintain consistency and confidence that all of this will take me somewhere, especially where I want to go.

It wasn't easy, but the secret was not making things harder for myself. I started to trust and believe in myself more, realizing that I am capable, and it's just a matter of discipline, willpower, wisdom, and a lot of patience because growing isn't a simple task, but remaining stagnant is even worse.
