The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck was in my top 10 books for the past 2 years. One of my favorite chapters was juxtaposing a tale of two band members. One that got kicked out of Metallica and the other from The Beatles. The latter band member went on to start a family and reflected on getting kicked out as “the best thing that happened to him” despite the global success lf The Beatles. The latter called himself a failure because he was never able to sell more albums than Metallica, though the band he went on to form, Megadeth, sold tens of millions of albums. One felt they found success in the end, the other saw failure.
