I’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic, specifically women’s opinions. (I thought about asking in the Subreddit, but I know there are many men there, so this seems like the safer bet lol.)

So basically - my dad has been getting into the game. We finished Act 1 just now and he didn’t expect Verso to become the new protagonist. He said that he thought the women would just be on their own now (with Esquie). He started wondering why Verso is a man, why he’s there. I told him there are reasons why he’s there… but it made me think a little. Why isn’t Verso a female character? How do y’all feel about the amount of feminism in this game? I feel like Maelle has a really big and important role, if not the most important… And Lune and Sciel are their own people too, I love that their friendship gets explored a little more and they just feel like separate, complicated people. So, personally, I never thought about this being an issue before. But my dad mentioning it makes me think…
