With the Cosmere adaptation news I really wanna say I hope they cast mostly unknowns for the roles. I think it would help the world feel like a more unique, standout experience. There are a lot of cool fancasts I’ve seen and a ton of folks I know would do great jobs in a lot of the roles if they’re cast. But there’s something great in casting new faces that the audience can really feel embody the roles in a way that A listers only distract from for stuff like this. Nothing gets in the way of a role like thinking “oh just like this other character they did” or “is that the one with (completely different character from another show)”
