my mind needs to shut the hell up because why did it have to give me Sam seeing a newborn and got scared and hides behind Dean and while Dean jokes about the baby, he just ... cowers, pressing close to Dean, then eventually, he talks, like a whisper. They were mine, many of them, slick with blood, and limp. In the cage, he would say, i have held them for months, in my body, stretched my guts to made home for them, but nothing was ever enough. Anytime they appear, they lay still, limp, on my thighs, on my hands, on lucifer's hands, soaked and cold. I asked him to make them live, but he holds their flesh and nothing has ever looked so wrong. They were mine. Many of them, countless, i can't remember, tearing me up to get out, then die.
